Crosby Dixon 8.6.15

Bringing our little peanut home was possibly one of the most terrifying and equally amazing moments of our lives. It’s been the hardest, most rewarding, and even more amazing experience than I could have ever imagined. He’s everything I’ve ever dreamed of and I can’t imagine my life without him.

The pictures below are ones that make me feel brave, that make me feel like I’ve accomplished something. I feared from day one that I wouldn’t be able to breastfeed.  3+ weeks later this dude prefers only boob (in moments of soreness and fatigue, believe me, we’ve tried bottles with breast milk, but he doesn’t take it well). I’m proud of the things I’ve accomplished, I’m proud of the way I can care for my little man, and I’m proud to be exclusively breast feeding. It’s the hardest work I’ve ever done. However, I think it’s beautiful and our photographer captured it beautifully!

Thank you Theresa with Shot By Tess for capturing some wonderful memories to last me a life time!

These are the most intimate photos of the blood, sweat and tears little Crosby and I have endured!
